A home full of memories.
9 Albert Hill, was the last of 3 bungalows to be built on this plot of land between 1966 and 1968, and has been owned by the same family since 1968. It has always been a hive of activity from when we, the sons, were kids, cycling and horse riding, playing music or when our father welcomed cyclists who would ride from all parts of Lancashire and Yorkshire s to 'have an audience' with him, and when we and our mother grew fruit and veg and each year made pots of strawberry and raspberries picked from the garden. Our father built the original limestone walls, excavated tonnes of soil and stone, created rockeries and built the garage. Some of the raspberry and gooseberry bushes remain as does the rhubarb.
