Welcome to 9 Albert Hill, Settle, North Yorkshire.

In the process of renovation, this will be a very rare opportunity to purchase this beautiful bungalow in Settle North Yorkshire.

Perched on the edge of Sugar Loaf Hill, right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in Upper Settle, (the property's front wall is the edge), and within a private enclave of just three bungalows, this beautifully appointed three-bedroom home offers a rare blend of privacy, elegance, and  natural beauty.

It enjoys fabulous panoramic views across the market town of Settle, the Ribble Valley and the Trough of Bowland, and even towards the Lakes on a clear day.

The grounds total over 500m2  with the bungalow enjoying just over 100m2 of single level living space.

Entering the bungalow from the back door, the eye is immediately hit by the fabulous  views out of the windows along the front of the home.

Step forward onto 34m2 of terrace (nearly 14m long), which overlooks rockeries and a 25m-long hedge that provides privacy and shelter along the front of the grounds.  The main garden is to the front and two sides.

The spacious and luminous interior is thoughtfully designed, featuring a welcoming hallway expected to be completed with limestone tiles, a spacious dining-living room ideal for entertaining, a dedicated music room for a creative retreat, and a spacious  kitchen and bathroom, all with wonderful views.  In addition, there are three bedrooms, of which two are doubles,  and a small but airy bathroom looking across towards Giggleswick.  Other natural materials such as Panga Panga hardwood floors and cedar ceilings are featured.

Gas central heating and hot water.

Ideal for those seeking a lifestyle upgrade, a retirement haven, or a family home.

The property’s hillside setting is complemented by original dry stone features, with existing stone on site offering scope for restoration or landscaping to suit buyer preferences, and a 5.8m x 3.12m garage which could be converted into a summer house, adjacent to manageable lawns of around 16m2.

How to find us

Of course a satnav will find us pretty quickly but to reassure you that you're going the right way this is what'll happen.

From the North, (A65-A6480) or centre of Settle

You pass the market place, and town hall, into Upper Settle in the direction of Malham.  You will see the magnificent Folly as you head there (take the right fork!),  over the cobbles, up left, up up and then the driveway on left.

From the South (A65-A6480)

Coming into Settle under the railway bridge your satnav will take you right immediately after the Falcon Manor Hotel. (By the way if you need somewhere stay we can recommend it and the Lion on the high street).

You will wind you way down and then gradually into upper Settle. passing threw the Green.  Then you hit a junction from Victoria Street onto Albert Hill where  you take a sharp right. Then take the next left into the private drive.
